from Portland, Oregon, Ken ‘s video production experience began when he
decided to try to make a music video for the band he was playing in. That
project hooked him on the idea of moving images and led to a number of
undergraduate classes in video production. After ten
years working at various photo labs and industrial video production companies
Ken had an opportunity to produce and direct a large video project for the
Oregon Education Association. Realizing that producing was what he really wanted
to do, he went to Regent University where he received excellent training,
experience, and an MA in producing for cinema-television. Ken is the
Producer, Director, Writer and co-Editor of the Promotional-Documentary video Regent
Pictures Presents. He has also produced two short films for Regent Pictures.
Byline premiered in May 2002 at Norfolk, Virginia’s historic Naro
Theater where it won the Audience Choice Award inRegnet University’s annual
Film Festival. The Accuser, a seven-minute short, showed at The Naro in
2001 and had its West Coast premier in October of that year at The Director’s
Guild of America Theater in Hollywood. Also to
Ken’s credit are Soulmate and Cradle
of Genius, professional pictures on which he acted as 1st AD/UPM
and 2nd AD respectively. Ken’s film acting debut was as “Bob”
in the Regent Pictures short White American Jesus. Ken is currently residing in Virginia. |
